What is PCA?

ACP is an active oxidizing catalyst that is activated by
solar energy or UV lamps.

It catalyzes the formation of
free radicals for water disinfection. the radicals
eliminate bacteria in the same way as the
chlorine but without forming the unpleasant combined chlorine.

The ACP is not consumed during the process, it is a process
natural and much more efficient. the acp protect also
to chlorine from photolysis by sunlight and get
make it last three times longer
in outdoor pools. the acp
performs the same function as cyanuric acid but in
Instead of reducing the oxidation capacity, ACP increases
the disinfection of water.

Benefits at a glance

Water treatment that respects the environment
technology

For outdoor pools, the ACP in combination with
Sunlight helps to disinfect the water. The PCA is
an oxidation enhancer and an oxidation stabilizer
chlorine.

A healthy bathing experience

When UV equipment is used, the production of
disinfection by-products such as chloroform
or cyanogen chloride will be reduced.

High efficiency

ACP extends the half-life of chlorine and peroxide
above 300% providing large
economic savings.

How does the PCA work?

ACP is made up of a mixture of poly-silicates and
metal oxides. powerful wave ultraviolet rays
short of the sun, are converted thanks to the ACP into more
long. When this energy is released, the molecules
of water split generating free radicals (radicals
hydroxyl and oxygen). They are even more powerful
than ozone and are capable of oxidizing pollutants
such as urea and chloramines to convert them back
into carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O) and nitrogen
(N2). There will be no combined chlorine or by-products of
toxic disinfection. Only clean, healthy and safe water.
Thanks to the conversion of the short waves of lightning
UV at longer waves, chlorine protects itself against
photolysis (decomposition by the sun). The half-life of
chlorine is increased by 300%. In comparison with the
traditional chlorine stabilizers, such as acid
cyanuric acid, ACP increases the yield of chlorine to
kill bacteria and provide cleaner, more
Safe for both private and public pools.

UV equipment is used to dechlorinate
(reduction of combined chlorine), however the rays
Medium wave UV doubles chlorine demand. Also
part of the combined chlorine is converted into products
chemicals like chloroform and cyanogen chloride
which are hundreds of times more toxic than combined chlorine.
When ACP is dosed into water before a
UV equipment reduces the demand for chlorine and the formation
of toxic by-products.

ACP is a cationic flocculant and in combination with the
APF flocculation is obtained in two phases, trapping
both positively and negatively charged particles
Water.

How is the ACP used?

Dosage:

  • Weekly manual dose: 1 liter/100 m3 per week (1st dose = 2 liters)
  • Monthly manual dose: 4 liters/100 m3 per month (1st month 5 liters)

Apply directly to the pool (shake well before dosing)

  • Automatic dose: 0 to 5ml/m1/h of recirculation after the filter.

the acp
takes 6 to 8 weeks before full effects
be visible.
